Applied Drilling Technology (ADT) Services
ADT Services
Avoiding costly drilling problems often requires thorough analysis of all available drilling and geological data. The ADT service improves communications on the rig and provides enhanced interpretation of drilling and geological data to make your drilling operation safer and more efficient.
ADT engineers are trained and experienced in identifying opportunities to improve drilling efficiency as well as anticipating and avoiding potentially hazardous drilling conditions. Pore pressure and fracture gradient calculations are performed using all available techniques to help optimize drilling fluid density and avoid well control problems. All relevant data is analyzed and advice is presented on optimization of drilling procedures, bit jet selection, casing point selection, drilling fluid parameters, circulating hydraulics, well bore stability and running speeds for drill string or casing.
Daily reports are prepared which present pore pressure and hydraulics analysis, drilling progress, gas and geological analysis, hydrocarbon show evaluation and any recommendations. Significant drilling or geological events are noted. ADT logs and any additional custom plots such as Composite logs (using Wire-line, MWD/LWS data) to assist in drilling analysis and optimizations are included.
An ADT End of Well Report (EOWR) is presented which summarizes the well progress, drilling techniques and practices employed and any engineering or geological highlights.
